THE MEETING OF ENTREPRENEURS AND SUPPORTERS IN THE GCC STATES  that was ORGANIZED BY THE PUBLIC AUTHORITY OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT ((RIYADA))

 

Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Buainain, Chairman of FITCO Holding Group, participated in the meeting of entrepreneurs and supporters in the GCC countries organized by the Public Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (RIADA).

The meeting included a brainstorming session in the presence of entrepreneurs and supporters Represented by government and finance agencies, incubators and business centers in the GCC countries, More than 60 participants took part to discuss various aspects of the Gulf entrepreneurship system and to identify key initiatives to enhance the Gulf entrepreneurial environment and joint initiatives to support Gulf entrepreneurs.

The first day of the meeting included a number of field visits to a number of small and medium-sized organizations and institutions. The program included a visit to the General Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (RIADA), the Rafid Fund, the National Business Center and the SAS Incubator to learn about Oman's experience in supporting the entrepreneurship sector through the services provided to SME owners.
